The role of the Inventory Control Clerk is to provide effective and efficient services to the hospitals and ancillary departments. This is accomplished by: picking order for requisitioning and preparing orders for units, and distributing supplies in a timely and organized manner, (speed and accuracy are the utmost important factor when filling requisitions par levels), assisting with the unloading of supplier truck in order to receive, combine and process incoming shipment, inputting par level requisition and faxed information into the data entry system. This position requires taking responsibility within appropriate guidelines, prioritizing duties, teamwork and flexibility.
